Call for Papers

Japan Society of Kansei Engineering (JSKE) and Korean Society for Emotion and Sensibility (KSES) are pleased to announce the 4th Japan-Korea International Symposium on Kansei Engineering, which is jointly held with the 5th Annual Conference of Japan Society of Kansei Engineering and the 6th Asia Design International Conference (ADC) in Tsukuba Science City, Japan.

<The Scope of the Symposium>
The main theme of the 4th symposium is gKansei Engineering and its Industrial Applications.h Kansei Engineering is an important issue of global society to emerge new technology, new industry, new lifestyle and new culture. The symposium especially focuses the new ideas on Kansei engineering as well as their industrial applications.
The Symposium invites quality presentation from the scope of the symposium above as well as the entire fields of Kansei; the human reaction from sensory to mental state, that is, sensitivity, sense, feeling, esthetics, emotion, affection and intuition.

<Symposium Date>
October 12, 2003

<Symposium Site>
The symposium is held at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Tsukuba Science City, Japan, which is one of the biggest national research institutes in Japan.

<Official Language>
Papers, oral presentations and poster presentations are to be in English.

<Additional Information>
The symposium participants have free access to the 5th Annual Conference of Japan Society of Kansei Engineering, which is jointly held during October 12-14, 2003. The Conference includes keynote speeches, many oral presentations, poster presentation, academic and industrial demonstrations, yet official language is Japanese.
