Recently people tend to attach importance to human lives and the need to develop goods based upon consumer's Kansei (human feelings in Japanese), that is, develop kansei goods has been increasing. Now perceiving foodstuff Kansei qualities of which are considered to much influence consumer's Kansei, a special issue concerning food and food situation (Special Issue - Food and Kansei) is planned for International Journal of Kansei Engineering (Kansei Engineering International). The contributed papers are reviewed and based upon the results editorial board determines whether papers can be printed in the special issue.
