About advance publication

About advance publication

From May 2015, “International Journal of Affective Engineering” and “Transactions of Japan Society of Kansei Engineering”, the official journals of Japan Society Kansei Engineering (JSKE), will provide an advance publication service on J-STAGE
Advance publication concerns papers that have reached the corrected proof stage, but are yet to be “formally” published. This means that they have not yet been assigned a volume and issue number for their corresponding journal. If you make a mistake in the bibliography, abstract, cited literature, etc., it cannot be corrected during the advance publication process.
Each paper carries a digital object identifier (DOI), which serves as a unique electronic identification tag for that paper. As soon as the journal issue featuring the paper is released, the corresponding papers will be removed from the advance publication table of contents, assigned a page number, and transferred to the relevant issue’s table of contents on the website. The DOI remains attached to the paper in order to provide a persistent identifier.
