　感性工房・感性情報処理部会と継続的に研究交流して戴いている中国・清華大学の Pei-Luen Patrick Rau 先生の連続セミナーを開催します。

Pei-Luen Patrick Rau 先生の紹介：

　Patrick先生は、Human Computer Interactionの研究を核に、Human Robot Interaction や Human AI Interaction の研究を精力的に進めておられます。特に、感性工学のアプローチや手法にも関心を持っておられて、文化間にまたがる認知や行動に関する研究も多く展開されています。

1. 　2月2日（月）15:00-

“Can AI become a leader of humans?”

AI is increasingly performing leadership functions, supplementing or substituting human leaders. We examine the impact of human consideration and AI structure behaviors on task performance, subjective experiences, and neural activation in human–AI co-leadership. Results indicate that a pairing of high-consideration humans with high-structure AI significantly boosts leadership effectiveness and diversifies work methods.

2. 　2月5日（木）11:00-

“LLM-powered Persona construction across cultures”

Personas in practical applications not only consume significant resources but also frequently face quality issues, including inconsistency, incompleteness, unexplainability, and stereotyping. These challenges are further compounded in cross-cultural contexts due to cultural differences and cognitive barriers. This talk will present an LLM-assisted cross-cultural persona evaluation and improvement system. Using a 2×2 between-group experiment (AI assistance: yes/no; cultural familiarity: high/low), the research reveals that LLM assistance significantly improves evaluators’ ability to detect inconsistency and unexplainability in personas.

3 　2月6日（金）15:00-

“Robot Role Adaptation and Apologies in Human-Robot Interaction”

This talk will explore how to build robots that can establish identity, adapt dynamically, and repair relationships. The results real that robot and teacher avatars is better than mother avatar, embodied communication significantly enhanced role clarity but had conditional effects on collaboration outcomes, and the non-verbal cues of apology showed a calming effect on emotions.
