IJAE: Special Issue of Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research: Call for Extended Papers of KEER 2026

Special Issue of Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research: Call for Extended Papers of KEER 2026 (2026 International Conference on Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research).

A forthcoming volume of International Journal of Affective Engineering (IJAE) will be published as a Special Issue of Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research. The objective of this Special Issue is to discuss new theories and applications related to “Kansei Engineering and Emotion Research” fields.
This Special Issue solicits extended paper submission from people who presented their original works in the KEER 2026 on August 11-12, 2026 and have been nominated for publication in International Journal of Affective Engineering (IJAE), indexed in ESCI and Scopus, published by Japan Society of Kansei Engineering (JSKE). If you wish to publish a paper as an original article, with improvements and corrections made in response to feedback from the conference, please apply with the revised paper and follow the submission instructions below. All submissions will be sent to undergo general reviewing processes of IJAE prior to publishing.

Authors are asked to submit a manuscript containing 6 to 12 printed pages as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. All manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the IJAEʼs Rules for Publication. For more information regarding the submission, please refer to the website below:

For paper submission, we request that authors provide a cover page that describes:
(1) Paper title and corresponding author’s name, affiliation, and contact information with e-mail address
(2) Abstract of the paper,
(3) Details of any consent and/or ethics approvals,
(4) Description outlining the difference between the paper submitted for this Special Issue and the existing published paper on KEER 2026.

Furthermore, in the submitted paper, authors should:
(1) Provide a title different to that of the published paper on KEER 2026,
(2) Make certain contents of your paper differ from the published paper by at least 40%,
(3) Cite the already presented/published paper on KEER 2026,
(4) Cite relevant papers published in the International Journal of Affective Engineering (IJAE).
